Conservative Party Funds

That this House, in the light of further allegations about the secret and suspect funding of the Conservative Party, calls upon the Prime Minister to abandon his opposition to a full investigation of the funding of political parties by the Commission chaired by Lord Nolan; rejects as inadequate any internal inquiry into the Tory Party funding conducted by the Chairman of the Tory Party as totally lacking in objectivity; and believes any failure to open the books, or to allow proper examination, will be inevitably seen as confirmation that the Conservative Party has something serious to hide.
