Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Dover And Westminster City Council (No. 2);amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 903A1 in 1995-96, proposed by Robert G Hughes on 21/05/1996.

leave out from `House' to end and add `congratulates the honourable Member for describing to the House the process by which Westminster Labour Councillor Peter Bradley acted as a consultant as a consultant on a property development which enabled Camden Labour Group to seek electoral advantage through rejecting a 700 job creating industrial development opportunity, despite the existence locally of some 15,000 unemployed people, in favour of building 202 social houses near to a railway line; condemns the hypocritical attitude of Councillor Bradley; notes that there are many Labour areas where jobs have been priced out and built out for Labour's electoral advantage despite causing enormous poverty and deprevation as well as costing the taxpayer many millions of pounds in social security benefits and other costs; calls on the National Audit Office and the District Auditor to investigate such callous and indifferent behavour towards poeple as well as its financial cost; notes that the Labour Party is fearful of addressing such issues; and further notes that the vast majority of Westminster residents have consistently rejected the political beliefs of the Labour activist objectors.'.

This is a ammendment to 903.
