Higher Education In Wales

That this House recognises the immense contribution of the higher education sector in almost doubling student numbers over the last decade whilst suffering a drop in funding of about one third per student; shares the concern of all thoseinvolved in higher education at the adverse impact of Government policies on universities and higher education institutions in Wales; and calls on the Government to announce a review of its higher education spending proposalscoupling it with a financial memorandum on how quality and standards can be safeguarded.
