Research Into Prostate Cancer In Wales

That this House congratulates the Department of Urology at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, Professor Brian Peeting, Mr Bowsher and Mr Gower on the research undertaken into prostate cancer; notes that the department has increased the awareness among men in Gwent of the risks of prostate cancer; welcomes the launch this week of Progress, a self-help group of former prostate cancer patients; and calls upon the Welsh Office to support the department's research activities.
