Ninetieth Anniversary Of The Labour Party In Parliament;amdt. Line 8:

EDM number 542A1 in 1995-96, proposed by David Nicholson on 05/03/1996.

at end add `believes that the Labour Party has an important constitutional role to play in Parliament as a permanent party of opposition; is grateful that since 1979 the nation has been spared the inevitable legacy of every Labour Government since 1945 namely: spiralling inflation, high interest rates, rising unemployment, increased national debt, trade union domination, poor standing in the international community, low national self-esteem, appalling industrial relations, regular strikes and industrial disputes, a plummetting pound and excessive taxation; and wishes the Labour Party a further 90 contented years as Her Majesty's loyal opposition.'.

This is a ammendment to 542.

This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
