Fair Employment In Bank Of Ireland
EDM number 492 in 1995-96, proposed by Roy Beggs on 22/02/1996.
That this House, noting that 40 per cent. of the population of Northern Ireland is Roman Catholic, is concerned that 90 per cent. of district managers in the Bank of Ireland are Roman Catholic and 75 per cent. of branch managers in the Bank or Ireland are Roman Catholic; and calls upon the Fair Employment Commission to make recommendations to overcome this perceived imbalance in employment by the Bank of Ireland.
This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
