Delay In Dealing With Complaints To Former Select Committees

That this House regrets the delay in dealing with complaints to the former Select Committee on Members' Interests and Privileges respectively; in particular notes the extreme delay in dealing with a complaint against the honourable Member for Tatton made to the Members' Interests Committee; and calls on the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards to investigate without further delay the allegation that the honourable Member for Tatton accepted several cash payments from Mohammed Al Fayed as a consideration and failed to disclose the same in the Register of Members' Interests.
