Committee Of Public Accounts And Camelot
EDM number 41 in 1995-96, proposed by Chris Davies on 15/11/1995.
That this House notes the Government's refusal to grant the Committee of Public Accounts full access to the accounts of Camelot; notes the massive amount of public money being raised by Camelot; notes the favourable response from David Rigg of Camelot to the idea that Camelot's accounts should be scrutinised by the National Audit Office; believes that it is an important element of democracy that all organisations raising and spending public money are scrutinised by the Committee of Public Accounts; and calls upon the Government to grant the Committee immediate access to the accounts of Camelot.
This motion has been signed by a total of 33 MPs.
