Consultants And Evasion Of Employment Legislation

That this House condemns the activities of consultants like Padget Thompson of Kansas, USA who intend to hold a seminar on 15th March in the Marriott Hotel in the Blaydon constituency with the intent of teaching employers how to circumvent the already inadequate employment protection legislation which British workers now enjoy; trusts that no civil or public servant will be permitted to attend this seminar; and calls on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to ensure that fees for this dubious activity are not allowable against tax liability.
