Future Of Theatr Clwyd

That this House expresses its concern that, as a direct result of local government re-organisation in Wales, Theatr Clwyd, the major arts complex serving North Wales and North West England faces potential closure at the end of June; further notes the need for substantial financial and political measures from the Welsh Office to support the efforts of Flintshire County Council to provide a package of assistance; and calls on the Secretary of State for Wales to guarantee sufficient funding to ensure the future of this internationally acclaimed theatre.
