LIVERPOOL'S ANTI-DRUGS STRATEGY
EDM number 306 in 1995-96, proposed by David Alton on 18/01/1996.
That this House welcomes the presentation by Liverpool City Council and other local authorities Winning Back Communities; strongly supports Liverpool's call, backed by its Council Tenants' Federation, for mandatory grounds for repossession of council properties where there have been convictions of tenants involved in drugs related incidents; and believes that drugs are a powerful pressure for crime and highly destructive of community and family life.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
