Industrial Unrest In France

EDM number 150 in 1995-96, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 04/12/1995.

That this House fully supports the French trade union movement in their opposition to the welfare cuts being proposed by the Chirac administration; notes that the French Government is imposing these cuts as part of its attempt at meeting the convergence criteria for a single European currency; and wishes the French trade union movement all success in their struggle.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
