Human Rights Violations In Pakistan;amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 1182A1 in 1995-96, proposed by George Galloway on 22/07/1996.

leave out from `concern' to end and add `the continued terrorism and lawlessness in some parts of Pakistan resulting from the flooding of the country with illegal arms from Afghanistan, fuelled by the once lauded freedom fighters who, having outlived their usefulness, have turned to drug trafficking, crime and mercenary political violence and from the activities in Sindh province of the fascist force MQM, controlled from London by the terroristleader Altaf Hussein who have murdered thousands of people by bomb, bullet and sword and made Karachi at times the terror capital of the world; and, notes that the Benazir Bhutto government, democratically elected and trying to build a modern progressive Islamic state in Pakistan deserves the support of progressive opinion in the House as she tackles such problems as child labour, which stems from the desperate poverty of Pakistan and all other Third World countries, extremism, and anti-democratic violence, demagoguery and incipient fascism.'.

This is a ammendment to 1182.
