Attack On The U.s. Base In Saudi Arabia

EDM number 1056 in 1995-96, proposed by George Galloway on 26/06/1996.

That this House deeply regrets the huge loss of life and horrific injuries which are the result of the bomb attack upon the United States military base in Saudi Arabia; notes this further evidence of the inherent instability of the Saudi Arabian dictatorship and of the growing unpopularity of the presence of foreign military forces in the Arabian peninsula, forces which have no democratic mandate and which are widely held by the people to be the puppeteers of the unelected, unaccountable Royal tyranny; and, consequently, calls upon Her Majesty's Government to review the presence in the Kingdom of Her Majesty's forces.
