That this House congratulates The Royal Society of Chemistry on holding its annual Parliamentary Links Day in the Jubilee Room on Tuesday 25th June; welcomes the Society's pioneering Link Scheme, as part of its Royal Charter commitment to serve the public interest, which enables honourable Members to obtain objective information on science; notes the special display in New Palace Yard on the theme of 'Chemistry in Sport' of a Williams-Renault Formula One Grand Prix Racing Car, manufactured by Williams Grand Prix Engineering Ltd and driven by Damon Hill, as an example of British success; further notes the wider contribution of chemistry to many other sports; and places on record its appreciation of the educational role played by scientific organisations like The Royal Society of Chemistry which benefits honourable and Right honourable Members.
