Alice Hawes And Leicestershire County Council

That this House deplores the treatment of Mrs Alice Hawes, an 83 year old Leicester pensioner, by Leicestershire County Council; notes that Mrs Hawes has been waiting for three years for a shower to be installed in her home; considers that this delay is intolerable for Mrs Hawes and her family, demands that the Social Services Department takes immediate action to rectify this unacceptable situation; and calls on the Secretary of State for Health to initiate an urgent inquiry into the delays in the occupational therapy service in Leicestershire so that this disgraceful situation is eradicated.
