Top Of The Bench Competition

That this House congratulates Anthony Morgan, Adrian Ellis, John Broderick and Sam Holloway on their achievement in winning the nationwide schools' science competition, Top of the Bench, which is organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry; notes that they were presented with their prizes by the Minister of Science, the honourable Member for Orpington, at a special ceremony in Burlington House on 24th March, during National Science Week 1995; and recognises the achievement of Science Week in encouraging society at large, and especially the younger generation, to take a greater interest in science and its contribution to today's world.
