Retention Of Penn Hospital Wolverhampton
EDM number 883 in 1994-95, proposed by Dennis Turner on 23/03/1995.
That this House congratulates Wolverhampton Community Health Council in resisting the proposal by Wolverhampton Health Authority to close Penn Hospital; and notes that by referring the matter to the West Midlands Regional Health Authority for investigation the Council might now extend this hospital's provision of excellent health care to the citizens of Wolverhampton for the indefinite future.
