That this House notes the growing divide between fundholding and non-fundholding general practitioners; shares the concern of the local medical committee and the Nottingham general practitioner who had the offer of a magnetic resonance image scan for one of her patients withdrawn when the hospital discovered that she was not a fundholding general practitioner; and calls upon the Government to make such blatantly discriminatory practices illegal.
