That this House notes with serious concern the high and wide-spread incidence of head lice amongst school children and their families; congratulates the charity, Community Hygiene Concern, for successfully piloting the solution known as `Bug Busting'; and calls for the Department for Education to acknowledge the role which education must play in combating the problem of head lice and to establish a partnership with the Department of Health to enable the charity to offer all schools the opportunity of participation in the Bug Busting programme.
