Death Penalty And Mumia Abu-Jamal

That this House is dismayed at the decision of the Governor of Pennsylvania to begin signing death warrants; believes that the death penalty is barbaric; and in particular calls on the Governor not to sign such a warrant in the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal, when there is grave concern that a serious miscarriage of justice took place in his conviction.
