Gloustershire County Council Budget

That this House congratulates Conservative councillors on Gloucestershire County Council for supporting the Liberal Democrats in setting a budget on 22nd February 1995 at a level of ú304.773 million, a figure ú4.06 million above the Government's capping level; notes that this budget will mean no increase in council tax and require no extra resources from central Government; urges Conservative honourable Members in the county to join their party colleagues on the council in supporting schools, community care and other vital services; and calls on the Government to listen to their councillors and remove the capping limit from Gloucestershire County Council.
