Educational Provision In Rotherham

That this House is deeply concerned about the local government financial arrangements for 1995-96 which are likely to have severe effects upon the maintenance of adequate levels of provision and staffing and of good educational standards in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham and suggests that it is scarcely appropriate for Ministers to seek to identify any mote in the eye of local authorities when a veritable beam exists in their own.
