leave out from `House' to end and add `recognises public concern about the export of calves destined for veal production, but understands that it would be unlawful for the Government to impose a ban and that Article 36 of the Treaty of Rome would provide no defence; urges the Government to make renewed efforts to change EU rules on veal production and to take steps to encourage alternative outlets for humanely produced British veal; and supports the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in his personal conduct in standing aside from the management of his farm in order to avoid conflicts of interest in performance of his duties.'.
