leave out from `Government' to end and add `to promote the resumption of inter-communal talks and to support the UN Secretary General and his representatives in seeking to promote confidence building measures leading to a balanced and just solution to the situation in Cyprus; recognises that it would be destabilising to this process for the European Union to open membership negotiations with the Republic of Cyprus and regrets the efforts made to impede access to EU markets for goods from Northern Cyprus; and urges Her Majesty's Government to continue to resist attempts by the Government of Greece to link Cypriot membership negotiations with the implementation of established commitments to implement a Customs Union with Turkey.'.
