Closure Of Rate Collection Agency Offices In Northern Ireland

EDM number 277 in 1994-95, proposed by Eddie McGrady on 14/12/1994.

That this House expresses deep concern about the decision to close eight regional rate offices in Northern Ireland; and views this decision as a contradiction of government policy to sustain rural communities, a denial of democratic dialogue and an example of the many circumstances where local accountability has been lost.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
