Mr Guo Bing Guang

EDM number 229 in 1994-95, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 08/12/1994.

That this House fully supports the application of Mr Guo Bing Guang for an artist's visa to enable him to practise his profession of photography in Britain; notes that he came to Britain in 1990 since when his talents have been widely recognised and that there is widespread support for his application to remain in Britain; further notes that he has been specifically supported by the London Arts Board Director and members of the Arts Council and many respected professional photographers; and is aware that if he is refused this application and returned to China he would be denied any further right to travel and thus the outside world would be denied the pleasure of his photographic achievements.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
