Abductions In Kigali

EDM number 216 in 1994-95, proposed by Edward O'Hara on 07/12/1994.

That this House, noting that on 14th June 1994, 40 boys under the age of 14 were taken from the Sainte Famille Church complex in Kigali, Rwanda, by Hutu militia and are assumed to have been murdered; urges the Government of Rwanda to bring those responsible for this atrocity to justice; and further urges Her Majesty's Government to ensure that no fugitive from trial for such atrocities shall be allowed to take refuge in the United Kingdom.
