CONSERVATIVE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE AND THE HEALTH SERVICE

That this House welcomes the motion submitted to the 1994 National Conservative Women's Conference by the Shrewsbury and Atcham Conservatives and notes their recommendation that the Government wake up to reality regarding the National Health Service; and suggests that the Government follows the advice of East Midlands Conservative women and takes firm steps to reduce the excessive numbers of managers in the health service and to increase medical and nursing staff to improve the morale of the health profession.
