Crook Primary School

That this House congratulates Crook Primary School, County Durham, on the positive report issued by OFSTED which has resulted in the lifting of the 'special measures' imposed bythe Secretary of State in December 1993; acknowledges the progress made by the school, and the hard work and commitment of the stff and the support given by parents, the governing body and the local education authority; and believes that the achievements of the school, including the sporting success of the cricket and football teams in becoming county champions in the current year, reflect the school's commitment to ensuring that every child in the school receives every opportunity to develop their full potential.
