Border Controls And The European Union
EDM number 1394 in 1994-95, proposed by Teddy Taylor on 12/07/1995.
That this House deplores the proposals announced by Commissioner Monti on 12th July which would remove the United Kingdom's remaining border controls within Europe; and believes that the only effective way of retaining United Kingdom border controls would be for the United Kingdom to demand at the 1996 IGC that the Declaration attached to the Single Act should become a Treaty Clause.
This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
