Road Crossings At Westminster
EDM number 1345 in 1994-95, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 04/07/1995.
That this House is concerned that people with little or no sight and journalists, the public, parliamentary staff and honourable Members using the light-controlled pedestrian crossings by St. Margaret's and Old Palace Yard wait in vain for the distinctive sound indicating that traffic should stop, and desires the highway authority to remedy the defect. (Relevant registered interest declared)
