Lisa Clayton And The Spirit Of Birmingham

That this House, in the name of the citizens of Birmingham, congratulates Lisa Clayton on becoming the first woman to circumnavigate the globe on a non-stop solo voyage of 286 days across 31,000 miles in her sloop, 'Spirit of Birmingham'; commends her physical and mental endurance, bravery and determination; and thanks the Birmingham Evening Mail for its regular coverage of her epic journey.
