S4c In Wales
EDM number 1240 in 1994-95, proposed by Llew Smith on 13/06/1995.
That this House, while supporting the Welsh Channel S4C, nevertheless recognises that it does not cater for the vast majority of people in Wales, whose only language is English; and therefore calls upon the Secretary of State for Wales to ensure that the English-speaking majority has the opportunity to view Channel 4 and thus ensure freedom of choice for the whole Wales.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
