Regional Assembly For Cornwall
EDM number 1210 in 1994-95, proposed by Margaret Ewing on 07/06/1995.
That this House notes the recent debate concerning regional government in Britain; regrets that Cornwall has not been widely discussed as a suitable unit for such regional government; and believes that Cornwall merits its own regional assembly, on the grounds of its distinct Celtic identity and culture, history and unique economic problems.
This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
