That this House calls on the Secretary of State for Transport to support, by funding, the completion of the camera investigation of the located wreck of MV 'Derbyshire' as this is the only way to resolve completely the hull failure mechanics involved in the loss of the vessel and all her crew; notes that over 120 lives this year have been lost among crews of this type of bulk carrier; and believes that the knowledge to be gained from such a camera investigation would have invaluable application in future building and operational safety of ships of this type and help stem this loss of life.
