That this House welcomes Nurses Day on 12th May 1995, the anniversary of the birthday of Florence Nightingale, as a fitting celebration of the work of nurses; recognises the value of nursing; notes that the theme of Nurses Day 1995 is `Nurses' contribution to women's health'; and commends the crucial role of nursing, both in hospital and in the community, in maintaining and improving the health of women and the nation as a whole. (Relevant registered interest declared)
