Willow Gardens Estate, Bridgwater

That this House notes with grave concern the plight of residents on the Willow Gardens Estate, Bridgwater, who purchased or part-purchased their properties in good faith, later to discover that the developers failed to honour their commitments to finish off roadworks, landscaping work and to set up a children's play area; congratulates the Labour party in the area for campaigning alongside the residents to resolve their problems; and calls on the Secretary of State for the Environment to enter into discussions with Sedgemoor District Council, the Law Society and the residents of the estate to find an acceptable solution to these problems.
