Assistance To Thalidomide Victims

EDM number 83 in 1993-94, proposed by Eddie Loyden on 24/11/1993.

That this House calls on the Secretary of State for Health to give full regard to the changes that have taken place in the lives of thalidomide victims; notes that many of them are now parents with families and householders in their own right who have special and varied needs that cannot be met without additional finance and other assistance; and calls upon the Government to make appropriate assistance available.
