That this House is appalled that 411 flats at Artillery Mansions, Victoria Street, have remained unoccupied for 18 years despite London's homeless crisis; congratulates those who have taken peaceful, direct action in occupying the premises; welcomes the occupiers' desire to create a place for homeless people where they can have some privacy, live with self-respect and take part in decisions as to how the place should be run; and wishes them success in tackling the problem of homelessness in this part of Central London, where both the Government and Westminster City Council have so clearly failed.
