leave out from 'House' to end and add 'acknowledges the problems which have beset Tameside Enterprises Ltd; nevertheless congratulates the honourable Members for Denton and Reddish and for Stalybridge and Hyde for their diligence when acting as trustees of Tameside Community Care Trust; notes that as trustees their paramount concern has been to ensure the maintenance of the high standard of care to the elderly people in the homes arising out of the establishment of the company which has been effectively achieved; notes further that the following honourable Members insisted on independent financial advice as soon as they were aware of any financial problems, interviewed the Chief Executive of Tameside Enterprise Ltd. and the financial officer as soon as the adviser indicated the problems, and identified further problems. insisted that the Council's audit section carry on further checks, joined with the Council calling in the District Auditor and arranged for the Council's internal report to be published along with the District Auditor's report and for the police to be called in; understands that the District Auditor in his report made favourable mention of the trustees' stewardship; and believes that as a result of these actions the financial health of the company has improved considerably and previous losses are beginning to be eradicated.'.
