Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Liverpool, broadgreen, and Cancer Services In;north Wales

EDM number 655 in 1993-94, proposed by Dafydd Wigley on 22/02/1994.

That the House deplores the derogatory remarks of the honourable member for Liverpool, Broadgreen relating to the new cancer facilities proposed for Ysbyty Clwyd at Bodelwyddan; while recognising the need for additional resources, in terms of facilities and staff, to be provided to get the maximum benefit from this development, nonetheless this House welcomes the new provision in Clwyd and would equally welcome a similar cancer facility based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, in order to minimise travelling time for residents of North Wales needing cancer services; and calls on Labour honourable Members for constituencies in Clwyd to disassociate themselves from the ill-considered remarks of the honourable Lady.

This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
