leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that the honourable Member for Stirling said that Stirling District would be the toast of his constituents following a 26 per cent. cut in council tax, the first ever reduction in bills sent out by Stirling District; and recalled that the honourable Member for Falkirk East was rejected by the voters of Stirling parliamentary constituency at the 1983 and 1987 general elections largely, because he, as a councillor, favoured high costs for council services.'.
