That this House welcomes the launch of London 2002; endorses the campaign for London as the site of the first Commonwealth Games of the next century; and commends this capital city not only for its unique sporting facilities but also for the wealth and diversity of the talents and cultures that are to be found here, mirroring as they do the Commonwealth of Nations whose many peoples are now to be found represented amongst London's citizens.
