Regional Associations For The Blind

That this House deplores the abrupt decision made without consultation, by the Department of Health, to withdraw all funding for the regional associations for the blind, who train specialists for work with the visually impaired, from 1st April, and that there are no other plans for the provision of these training needs in the future nor any assessment of the impact of these changes on the visually impaired.
