leave out from 'recognises' to end and add 'that there is no need to tinker with Britain's long standing daylight hours time arrangements, that arguments which suggest that accident rates will decrease with change do not hold water given past experimentation; and that the requirements of citizens of the United Kingdom should not be sacrificed in the drive towards European alignment in day to day issues'.
