Hill Livestock Compensatory Allowances (No. 2)

EDM number 272 in 1993-94, proposed by Eddie McGrady on 15/12/1993.

That this House is totally opposed to the reduction in hill livestock compensatory allowances which was announced in the Budget, as it will impose considerable financial hardship on many farmers whose properties are located in upland remote areas; and calls on the Government to immediately reinstate those allowances to a level commensurate with inflation.

This motion has been signed by a total of 27 MPs.
