Bovine Tuberculosis And Badgers

That this House notes that clear proof is now available that 90 per cent. of all bovine tuberculosis is caused by badgers; welcomes the new measures on control and testing of badgers announced on 8th December; and pledges its full support for such other measures that may be necessary in the future to eradicate bovine tuberculosis in the United Kingdom in general but in the South West of England in particular.
