Women And Aids
EDM number 219 in 1993-94, proposed by Martin Redmond on 09/12/1993.
That this House asks the Secretary of State for Health to realise the concern and alarm of Right honourable and honourable Members at the rise of female AIDS cases nationally; and requests that she will seek media prominence, for, although the majority of homosexual adults are taking precautions against the disease, the majority of heterosexual males and females feel they are in very little danger, despite the research carried out by Dr Tim Moss, Clinical Director of Genito-Urinary Medicine/AIDS at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital Trust, which shows quite the contrary.
This motion has been signed by a total of 47 MPs.
