Community Pharmacies

EDM number 19 in 1993-94, proposed by Liz Lynne on 18/11/1993.

That this House views with concern the fact that community pharmacists in England and Wales have had their remuneration for 1993-94 imposed on them by the Government from 1st November 1993; fears that the Government's decision will put the future of many small pharmacies in jeopardy; and calls on the Government to think again, to listen to the fears of many pharmacists and their customers and to re-open negotiations with the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee.
